Find A Comfortable Seat: Hip Openers **Sold Out. Thanks Yogis!!
Wed, May 23rd 6:00pm - 8:00pm
$35

Yogis are pros at finding comfort in the uncomfortable. They know that nothing is permanent and that flexibility of the mind and body frees us from fear and expectation. This workshop will nurture the hips back into a place of space and surrender so we can exorcise discomfort or anything blocking our way. Let go of the past and move into the present—joyful, open and comfortable.

Keep Calm And Bakasana On
Thurs, May 24th 9:00am - 11:00am **Sold Out.
$35

All hail to the King of Arm Balances! Crow Pose is an incredibly complex posture that gives us the ultimate foundation to build balance on. We'll explore a plethora of variations and steping blocks to fully understand how the body reacts in the pose. Once we understand the basics other arm balancing postures become simple. We'll awaken the core through practicing deep awareness and doing variations including Tripod, Handstand, One-Legged Crow, jumping forward, shooting back, and learning what to do when it's time to stick your tail-feather out.
Just remember--when in doubt, keep calm and bakasana on.

Yin & InnerYoga: Balancing the Seasonal Body (Spring Detox) with Dina Amsterdam
Tuesday, May 29th 11:30am - 2:00pm
$35

This Spring Detox workshop is a gentle and mindful journey into the profoundly therapeutic offerings of Yin & InnerYoga. The long held passive Yin poses lubricate the joints and connective tissues of the body, stimulate the meridians housed within, and invite deep relaxation. In alignment with the season, the liver and gall bladder meridians will be highlighted, along with specific breathing techniques, to support detoxification. The four foundations of InnerYoga - awareness, kindness, breath and ease - will be woven throughout to invoke effortless unfolding and your natural state of well-being.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels.

Dina Amsterdam began teaching yoga in 1994. She is certified by Kripalu (1994) where she gained her spiritual yogic roots and by Rodney Yee (1998) with whom she studied alignment oriented Iyengar yoga intensely for 3 years in his Advanced Teacher Training program. Since 1998 Dina has been practicing and studying Buddhist meditation and Yin yoga with Sarah and Ty Powers as well as other renowned teachers in the Buddhist lineage. Dina is a certified Yoga Therapist and works with individuals and groups on transforming psychological and physiological constrictions. Her approach with clients is guided by healing principles from the yogic and Buddhist therapeutic traditions. She did her graduate research in physiological psychology at the Stanford Center for Research in Disease Prevention and values an integrated approach of eastern and western modalities for optimal psycho-physiological and spiritual well-being. Dina leads yoga retreats (many of which are held in the Buddhist tradition of silence) in beautiful places in nature around the world.
